We offer a range of appointments on the day and up to 2 weeks in advance. There are several alternatives to seeing a GP so the doctors at Corner Place Surgery have asked that you give the receptionists some details of your health problem in order to direct you to the correct clinician or service. All of our receptionists are trained in Health Navigation for this purpose.

If you cannot keep an appointment, please let us know in plenty of time so we can offer it to someone else. We can lose each week through non-attendance.
ONLINE BOOKING: To register for online services please come in to the surgery with TWO forms of identification.
If you are already registered with Patient Services please click here to book a blood test appointment or a telephone consultation with a GP of your choice.
HOME VISITS: Visits are for those patients who are too ill or disabled to come to the Surgery. They should not be used for convenience or transport reasons. Whenever possible, please phone for a visit before 10.30am. You will be asked for details of the problem and may receive a call back from a GP or our paramedic. Our paramedic makes most of our visits.
OUT OF HOURS: For information on how to access services outside normal surgery hours please call the surgery on 01803 557458. You will be given the option to be transferred to Devon Doctors where you will be given advice or directed to the appropriate service.
Please note that all calls to Devon Doctors are recorded.
In the case of serious emergency such as severe chest pain, breathlessness, haemorrhage, collapse or fall, phone 999 for an ambulance.
Improving access to general practice: Patients who are registered at this practice can now book an appointment to see a GP or nurse on Monday evenings (after 6.30pm) or Tuesday mornings (from 7.30 am). Please contact reception to book one of these appointments.
By March 2019 everyone in England will benefit from access to general practice appointments in the evenings and weekends at a time that is most convenient to them. This is part of a national drive to help improve access to general practice and get the best possible outcomes for patients. Further information is available at www.england.nhs.uk/gpaccess
You can now book blood test appointments online up to two weeks in advance.

MINOR INJURIES: We do not provide a minor injuries service. You should attend A&E or a local minor iunjuries unit. The LIVE WAITING times for these services are listed here.
